Scott a.k.a. Papa Squish (Admin)

Hello, fellow Journeymen (and women) on the narrow path. My name is Scott, but thanks to my children (who came up with it), I am known online as "Papa Squish". Basically, my kids thought it sounded funny, so, here we are. I am a 48-year-old husband and father of three. My oldest turns 22 later this month (June 2023), my youngest daughter turns 19 later this month, and my son is 15 (he turns 16 in January). Like many of you, my family and I have been working on growing in our faith and trying to get better at following the example of Jesus Christ, and the will of God. However, it has been a bumpy road, and we worry that many people out there may feel like they are dealing with a lot of these same struggles, but they are dealing with them alone. We believe that many times, a person can conquer whatever bumps appear along the road if they have at least SOME sort of support. It is for that reason that we made this website. We wish to create a community of growing followers of Jesus Christ, regardless of whether you've been an avid church-going Christian / Deacon / Preacher, or whatever, since grade school, or if you just picked up the Bible or heard someone share the gospel for the very first time, and are looking for more information. We would love to hear from you. Please feel free to share your comments, suggestions, testimony, or even just a good (clean/family-friendly) joke (nothing dirty or inappropriate, please). Please respect the rules of this forum, and please also respect each other. The internet is full of people who like to stir up trouble, but this forum is for support and encouragement.
